AP Physics C: Mechanics

AP Physics C: Mechanics is full year, calculus-based, college-level physics course, especially appropriate for students planning to specialize or major in one of the physical sciences or engineering. Students cultivate their understanding of physics through classroom study and activities as well as hands-on laboratory work as they explore the following topics: Kinematics, Newton's Laws, Work/Energy/Power, Linear Momentum, Rotation, Oscillations, and Gravitation. There is no additional lab period with this course. This a terminal AP Physics C course and students are not permitted to enroll in AP Physics C: Mechanics & Electricity and Magnetism in the following year.
